Dr. Monique Parrish, DrPH, MPH, LCSW has dedicated her career to the development of programs and services for persons and their caregivers of chronic disease and disability. A Dementia specialist and former support group leader, Monique is a deep listener first and foremost. She understands the challenges of caregivers and the need for community and connection.
Dr. Parrish has provided technical workgroup facilitation, consulting, and report writing for various California state departments in association with multiple statewide initiatives addressing the needs of persons with special health care needs. Previously, she has served as a Statewide Resource Consultant for the Family Caregiver Alliance, advocating for California’s Paid Family leave program and a voice for caregivers nationally. She is currently the Founder and Director of Life Course Strategies
where she assists health and social services organizations build bridges from concept to practice.
